Octagon Insurance Brokers Limited, part of Octagon Africa, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) to provide tailored insurance solutions to ISK members.

The partnership is aimed at enhancing financial protection and professional security for surveyors by offering access to key insurance products, including medical insurance, group last expense cover, and professional indemnity insurance. Through this collaboration, ISK members and their beneficiaries will benefit from insurance solutions designed to address both personal and professional risks associated with the surveying profession.

Under the MOU, Octagon will provide and manage the insurance solutions, while ISK will support awareness and access by sharing information with its members through its communication platforms. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving member welfare and promoting financial resilience within the profession.

“Surveyors play a critical role in Kenya’s built environment and economic development. Through this partnership with ISK, we are ensuring that members have access to insurance solutions that protect their health, livelihoods and professional responsibilities, allowing them to focus on their work with greater peace of mind,” said Davis Ongiro, CEO of Octagon Africa – Kenya.

The partnership aligns with ISK’s mandate to safeguard the interests and welfare of its members by facilitating access to value-added services that support their professional and personal well-being.

Through this collaboration, we are strengthening the support we offer our members by providing practical insurance solutions that help them manage risk, protect their livelihoods, and focus on delivering high standards of professional service,” said Eric Nyadimo, Presidentof the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya.

This MOU marks an important step in strengthening collaboration between professional institutions and financial services providers to deliver practical solutions that meet the evolving needs of Kenya’s professionals.
